Description
Group outside the Mission in Angelina Street. Mr Bowyer (front row with moustache) was the leading figure for many years. Apart from handing out soup, the Angelina street mission was somewhere where the people of Butetown could meet, children attended Sunday school, Whitson treats were organised and as part of the Christian mission, a benevolent club provided food & clothing for the destitute.
